Digital Monkey developed an online community that allowed users to easily share digital sheet music and recordings with each other. The system included voting, tagging and editing functionality, including the ability to tag copyright content to comply with the US Digital Millennium Act. Digital Monkey integrated the multi-tiered user system with StarPlay’s existing user database to support automatic logins from the StarPlay desktop application for authenticated users. The Digital Monkey built content sharing platform is helping StarPlay grow out of Adelaide into a successful international music business.
